The Accessibility Innovation Showcase (AIS) is a part of OCE’s annual Discovery Conference, which runs April 30-May 1, 2018. The AIS bridges many sectors and brings together industry and entrepreneurs, showcasing and promoting groundbreaking technologies that are improving the lives of people with disabilities.
“The Accessibility Innovation Showcase is an inspiring mix of brilliant minds sharing creative ideas that can help fuel future technologies. These technologies will improve the lives of people with disabilities. We are proud to support this prestigious and pioneering event,” says Tracy MacCharles, Minister Responsible for Accessibility.
This year, 35 Ontario-based companies will be invited to exhibit their innovative assistive devices and technologies on the Discovery show floor. This will build broader awareness of the companies that exist in this niche market, provide exposure to potential private investors, and engage the entire innovation ecosystem. This exclusive opportunity gives the companies access to experts, industry, government funders, investors, engaging keynote speakers, fascinating panel discussions, networking opportunities, an awards luncheon and an opportunity for face-to-face meetings with sector experts.
This year’s program promises to offer an exciting and interesting variety of topics for all of us who work in the area of assistive technology. The Conference program consists of educational, exhibitor and business workshops.
Networking and fun are always a huge part of our Conference and this year will be no exception. Our exhibitor and partner lists grow each year and we encourage you to take full advantage of the networking and informational opportunities in the Exhibit Hall.
See the latest product updates, get informed about services available, connect with new and old acquaintances and expand your knowledge of the field in which we all work.
